About the MedPower series of Conferences

The 1^st MEDPOWER98 took place in Lefkosia (Nicosia), Cyprus, November 16-18, 1998.

Organised by IEE Cyprus, IEE Hellas, IEE Israel and Electricity Authority of Cyprus, in co-operation the IEEE (Cyprus Section), the Cyprus Section of the Institution of Incorporated Engineers (IIE), the Cyprus Professional Engineers Association (CPEA) and the Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK).

 The 1^st MEDPOWER98 on Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, was the first of a series of bi-annual regional meetings involving Utilities and Manufacturers, in the form of Technical Conferences and a Products and Services Exhibition.

Since 1998 the following Conferences took place bi-annually:

Since 2006, the IEE has been renamed to IET.
